Candy Day!

Guess what? It's candy day!

The princesses, pirates, superheroes, and zombies run door to door, holding their bags open for sugary loot. And I love it! Why? Well, for one, I like kids and it makes me smile to see their excitement.


But the main reason? I love candy!

I've been snacking on Fun-Size candy bars all month long, but tonight, after trick-or-treating, the candy explosion begins. Yes, I will beg my kids to share. They get the good stuff. No, I won't sneak their Kit Kats or Twix--they love them too much--but I'm all in for their Peanut M&M's, Tootsie Rolls, Snickers, and any other candy they decide is share-worthy.


Come on, chant it with me: Candy! Candy! Candy!

Hooray!

    Yes, the candy, the one upside to tonight;) I LOVE Heath, Almond Joys, and those nasty little peanutbuttery chewy orange wrapped candies...it's an acquired taste forced upon me in my youth;)

      Susan, I slipped all those peanut butter taffy things to my mom. I don't like those! Ha!! Have fun snagging your faves from the kids... :)

    My favorite candy is Hershey Kisses, but that's more associated for me with Christmas. Favorite Halloween candy is an Almond Joy

      I love Kisses! My whole family has been saying, "we need to make those peanut butter cookies w/Kisses on top." I'll be making them soon! Yum!

    Halloween is one of my very favorite days! That said, with the way the storm has disrupted (and devastated) life here on Long Island, I don't think we'll be seeing those adorable little faces today. The roads are clearing out but the trees are down and branches dangle dangerously from above. I hope we can have a 'do over' day because I'd hate to have to eat all this candy by myself LOL.     Okay, so we kinda had the idea that Halloween would be cancelled w/ the storm so we kinda began to eat up most of our accumulating stash. :D

    I fluctuate between Dove, Skittles, and Snickers.

      I opened up a big bag a few weeks ago and had to buy more. Candy is good. :) I will be buying Doves soon--I like them during the holidays. :)

    My favorite candy--I have so many I don't even know where to start. I've been snacking on Sixlets lately...the candy that's kinda the same as an M&M, but kinda different. Mmm...I also recently discovered ShockTarts have changed their name to Shockers...as of 2003, apparently. Despite the name change, I love that candy.

      Same here. I could go on AND on. There is almost no candy I don't like. Well, I'm not big on those peanut butter taffies or candy corn...

    Peanut Butter M&M's and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. And anything else with peanut butter and chocolate all mushed up together.

    Happy Halloween!! I love all of the "fun" size candy bars... but they aren't big enough, so I eat like 10!

    Wanna hear the awesomest thing? My son doesn't like chocolate! I know, right? How did I brainwash him so well? I like to help relieve him of all the chocolate in his candy basket. :)
