June Plans

It's June! Sunny, warm, colorful, and busy! We're enjoying gorgeous weather so far, and I hope it stays.

We have so many exciting things going on this month. I'm having a hard time sitting still!

a. I'm revising a book and plan to finish by June 30. Hooray!
b. My hubby and I are celebrating twenty years of marriage this month!! Woo-hoo!!
c. We're heading to Cooperstown, NY for my son's baseball tournament! Can't wait!
d. School lets out this week. Goodbye, 6am wake-up alarm!
e. My daughter signed up to volunteer at the library. Be still my writer's heart!!
f. Sophie, our mini-dachshund, can start taking short walks again.

Those are my plans for June--what do you have coming up? I love hearing about your life!!

Have a wonderful day!!

  1. I'll be working on lessons plans for a Medieval Mania week at a children's summer program complete with a jousting tournament, an intro to Heraldry class, and teaching a calligraphy class to teachers as a guest artist for Literacy in the Middle Ages. I hope to do some more genealogy research by going on cemetery jaunts. I hope to visit my great and and uncle. He was a stonecutter and did work at the Boston Public Library and carved his own tombstone according to family lore.

  2. Writing, writing, writing! :) Two deadlines in July.

But other than that, some fun stuff too. I'm going to TWO Needtobreathe concerts next week, one here in my town. Roadtripping to Chicago for the other. Yay! Also heading down to Wichita in a few weeks and then to a writing retreat with friends in Minnesota in July...my restless, travel-bug-ness will get fed soon, thankfully. :)

  4. Right now, I feel rejuvenated. I have to finish getting winter clothes put away. I need to start a thorough house cleaning for when our son visits in August, I want to get back to my devotional writing project. I need to decide if I can go to a writing conference the end of October( it's here in town,) I know that sounds like a lot. Plus I am helping with registration for VBS toward the end of the month.(3 nights)
