Not Trying to Scare You, But...

Today is December 21. You do realize there are only four days left until Christmas? Yeah. Four.

Deep breaths...

If that didn't make you ready for your one-minute vacation, I don't know what will!

When I come across a soothing site or blog, I bookmark it in my "Favorites" under a folder I created named "Inspiration." Today, I'm sharing a few favorites with you.

Over at last.fm, an online radio station, you can type in a song or artist and the site will come up with a radio station of similar music. It's fabulous! Try Stan Getz and see if your tension fades.

I like the idea of crafting; I love the idea of knitting, and I think homemade presents rock. There's a little problem: crafting, knitting, and making homemade presents take time. So, I enjoy sneaking a peak at the blog Blackberry Rambles. Scroll through these cozy ornaments. Puts a smile on my face!

Maybe you don't need music or crafts--you need a little encouragement about writing today. Check out Quotes for Writers and get renewed. Christmas may only be a few days away, and the new year will bring a fresh start.

Hope you have a jolly Monday!

  7. It got here, didn't it? I knew it would, and now here it's four days off. Whew! That means I got over the biggest humps of the last week and a half. From here, smooth sailing and fun, family, food and celebration.

    Merry Christmas, Jill!

  8. I wish I liked crafts, but I don't, so therefore your post has inspired me to head to the mall ASAP, toddlers notwithstanding. That's what the double stroller is for, right? LOL
Thanks for the reminder. I didn't realize it was so close. *shudder*

  10. This is awesome, Jill! Thank you!

I'm ready, except for the savoring every moment part. For that reason, I don't want these four days to fly by. I love this week.

  14. I'm so glad that I'm basically done shopping, etc. It's nice to enjoy and really reflect on deeper Christmas meaning ahead of the big day. Although I'm going shopping with my dad tonight. But that's just tradition. We go every year. I don't think I'll be buying much.

  19. This is why I get done early. Life interrupted here in the East with a giant snowstorm. We were stuck inside for two days. People couldn't get to the grocery store much less the mall.

I'm sitting at my computer and visiting all of you. :)

    Merry Christmas,
    Susan
