Exercise Plans with Jill Kemerer Vlog

Now that November has arrived, I pretty much wear my winter uniform of sweaters and jeans. This can lull a midwestern gal into thinking she can hide any bulges. (I'm going to let you in on a secret: she can't.)

Unfortunately, Halloween just hit our house and I'm a candy freak. With Christmas right around the corner, I know I'll be shimmying into cute holiday clothes soon. That's why I'm being proactive this year. I'm getting my exercise plans together.

Here are my exercise plans to stay in shape before the holiday season!

Is this time of year a danger zone for you to drop exercising and overindulge? What are you doing to stay in shape? I'd love to hear your tips!

Have a terrific weekend!

  1. Because I get ideas for my writing while I workout, I don't have to worry about not exercising. Plus I feel yucky if I don't exercise for several days. :)

I'm in the same uniform. It snowed here last week and it's still cold.

  2. I love your webisodes! I go to a workout class twice a week at the Y, but now I feel guilty because I totally skipped out this week. Shame on me.

  3. "You don't want to do that." Cracking me up, Jill. Move closer! Run, run here and that would count as exercise. Or walk. I'm okay if you walk. ;-)

    Way to Just Dance!

    1. I am soooo tempted to run to your house, Wendy. It's a little farther than my 30 minute plan, but it would be worth it! :)

  4. Jill, I love your videos! You have such a wonderfully dry sense of humor. When I'm motivated, I like to walk outside. Have a great weekend!

  5. I have those same weights, yeah, I tried picking the 8 pounder up this week--HA! I'm doing Zumba on Mondays, do my Dance Party on our Kinnect (I am BEYOND competitive. My kids cannot bust-a-move better than me, not gonna happen), and lately I've been attempting to do exercise DVD's. Not the whole thing. But at least ten-fifteen minutes of it. Don't want my jeans busting out all over either! LOL

    1. Susan, that 8-lb beast is heavy! I remember a time I actually worked out with it--what was I thinking?? I'm super competitive too. My son was making fun of my "Gonna Make You Sweat" moves, so I added my "game face" at which he died laughing and would not stop making fun of me. Good times...)

  6. I love the Just Dance exercise plan! I've been slacking, though. I'll blame it on having small kids, but I don't think that's totally it. I've just been super tired and having trouble finding motivation. I NEED to get in shape!

    1. I don't even have small kids and I'm nodding my head. It's hard to get motivated. Ugh!! I'm working on it... :)

  7. I go to Curves three days a week and have for a year now. Nothing like working out with friends to make it seem like fun. :-)
