Hold On To Your Zippers!

I've been drooling about it for days. Thanksgiving dinner!

This year, I got smart and came up with the perfect holiday outfit. Leggings and a long sweater. No worrying about the strain on my zipper. No wondering how long I have to wait until I can put on my pajamas. Just stretchy, stylish comfort for a day of pigging out.

Have a happy Thanksgiving, all my American friends, and for everyone else, happy Thursday!

Who is braving the lines on Black Friday? (I'm passing this year.)

I'll be offline until Monday, so have a wonderful, wonderful holiday!

  1. No black friday!! I should repost my Black Friday post from a few years ago. Maybe I'll go do that.

    Have a happy Thanksgiving, Jill!!

  2. Hooray for elastic waistbands. I'll pass on Black Friday, but will happily point and click with the best of them on Cyber Monday. Have a happy holiday

  3. Good morning!

Heather: My DD and I braved Black Friday last year, and that was enough for me! I don't like crowds, and I DO like sleep, so Black Friday and I don't get along. :)

CJ: Oh yeah! Love elastic! Have fun pointing and clicking!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  5. I am NOT braving black Friday. I've already done most of my Christmas shopping online. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

  6. Leggings qualify as eating pants. So do athletic pants which I plan to wear with an over sized sweatshirt. NO Black Friday for me! Ick! :)

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  7. Happy Thanksgiving, Jill! I have to work retail on Black Friday afternoon, so no getting up at 4AM or midnight for me.

  8. What's wrong with spending the whole day in lounge pants and a sweatshirt?
If I brave Black Friday, it will be in front of my computer. Otherwise, I'll just wait for Cyber Monday.

  9. Jessica N: Me too! And, yes, they are genius!

Julie: Good for you! I've hit the early sales and have a good head start on my Christmas shopping. Feels really good!

Jessica P: Oh yeah! I've got my "trackies" (that's what I like to call my track pants) and my Lion's T-shirt all ready to go!

Brandi: Oh no! I'm so sorry you have to work. Praying it isn't too chaotic for you. :)

Alex: Love the way you think! Of course, nothing is wrong with it. I plan on changing into my football watching clothes immediately after dinner!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  10. Jill:
    Happy Thanksgiving!
I don't do Black Friday. I am not one to do well without my precious sleep. And besides, I don't like chaos. If I get out to shop on Friday, it will be in the mid afternoon, say 3:00-ish.

  11. Turkey isn't my favorite meal, but I do like it. If we were having pasta, I'd need your outfit. Anyway, hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
